It seems like every time I go to school, I lose someone that I love.

Tippy was always there. When we found him is just on the edges of my earliest memories.

Today was the anniversary of my grandmother's death. She pretty much raised me. Took on a huge portion at least. Our mom was around in the late evenings... but it was our grandma that was always there all day... or after school when we were older.

And to add insult to injury... Ben's bike was stolen out of our backyard last night. About 15 feet or so from where we were sleeping. If it had been day, we could have seen through our window. I feel like our privacy was violated, our backyard raped.

I miss my cat...
0630: Look at clock. Give an inward groan upon realizing that I should get up... even though I've only been asleep for a few hours.

0700: Get up. Shower. Etc.

0740: Set up a vase with a dozen roses (and filler) and card on a table so that Ben will see them when he wakes up. (1 year anniversary!)

0745: Realize that I spent my food preparation time setting up roses...

0746: Bike to Taylor for class.

0800 - 0950: Write essay... waste time in class.

0950- 1000: Bike to Education and Psychology building

1000 - 1150: Fall in love with Manda all over again. BEST PROF EVER.

1150- 1200: Bike to Stevenson Union, run in and get caffeine, bike to class.

1200-1350: Analyze the character of Victor Frankenstein as a romantic hero

1350-1400: Bike to theatre

1400-1600: Lighting design. SWEET. Spend time on lawn talking, in class taking notes off powerpoint... getting WONDERFUL massage from Cory... and Sean says that he'll let us out early so that we'll have time to get food before the meeting! Happy that I'm actually going to be able to eat today.

1601: Sean asks me to stay when everyone else leaves.

1600 - 1630: Conference with Sean, plan for future terms and shows...

1630 -1700: Give up on food. Spend time engaging in public displays of affection with Jason (my gay boyfriend, not boyfriend boyfriend).

1700 - 1745: Go to theatre meeting. Heckle techies. Start standing ovation for Su. Watch slideshow. Listen to speeches. Feel a bit surprised that I'm called out in front of the department and have to stand up and be applauded. Have they always done that for this position? Meh.

1745-1800: Gather XLR, clearcoms, and headsets... wait for people to clear area.

1800 -1900: Set up for auditions.

1900 - 2300: Run auditions. Give the tattoo/make up/measurements riot act approximately 50 times. Feel very relieved when ben shows up with a sandwich and a string cheese for me...

2300-2330: Clean up! Coil XLR... put headsets away... put the UN-Shurtape in the lighting shop ( ^_^' ) ... etc.

2330: Bike up the hill to my house

2345: Collapse on floor... exhausted.

And to think that yesterday was an "early" night. It was a pretty packed day though... I'm lucky I got that half hour surprize break. I was originally scheduled straight through from 8am to 12am... But now it's friday!! Which means... I'm in the theatre! AGAIN. Woo.

The year has kicked off pretty well though. It's pretty awesome to be back among friends. My lighting class kicks ass. Lor, Cory, Jon, Allen, Don, Kristin... And Sean is one of my favorite Prof's.

Working on "Women of War" has been fun so far, even if it eats up a lot of time. Jim is a renowned actor and director, and I'm starting to get a good idea why!

Meanwhile... I may SM for Chris Duval instead of Dale... not sure.... But it's all about making the right connections.. you know?
